Tionesta Bridge

As a sign of things to come, the 1961 Tionesta Bridge was the first girder bridge to replace a truss bridge over the Allegheny River downstream of New York. By 2014, this will happened to all but 4 of the 16 pre-World War II truss bridges. The Tionesta Bridge was built on the piers of the previous bridge.
