Moundsville Bridge

Moundsville Bridge is a tied arch bridge with a main span of 912 feet, the longest tied arch span in all of Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. The bridge opened in 1986 and is the first bridge on the site. Moundsville is named after Grave Creek Mound, an Adena Native American burial mound, which is the largest conical mound in the United States.
